Colourgridis a project in which we start a quest to
find the line pattern of a design in order to provide
an insight into the dynamic structure of its creation.
This search is done with color pencils and thread.
Grids are colored and weaved, making the underlying
framework visible. Each of these actions is done
manually, which gives tangibility to this otherwise
hidden outline, and creates an experience of
discovery. Rens has been asked is by the Stedelijk
Museum 's-Hertogenbosch to deliver a workshop about
this fascinating project during the exhibition of
Scholten and Baijings "BLUSH".
