With its moving arm, the Lightfoot looks like a
functional lamp, however, we as designers limited the
light range. This prevents the light to shine
functionally; Lightfoot is an object in itself.
Its size takes up the indoor space. Except for its
brass hinges, the complete lamp (incl. lampshade) is
made of tulip wood, this adds to the autonomous
character of the product. The electricity streams
through the rubber cable; Lightfoot’s vein, causing
the lamp to shine.
